Un Jardin Sur Le Nil

Hermes returns with their second fragrance in their Un Jardin - Garden series, Un Jardin Sur Le Nil. This time Jean Claude Ellena comes with a scent that might be a lot better than the already fabulous En Mediterranee. This scent is a citrusy floral fragrance that is a result of the notes used in its creation. These notes are lotus flower, green mango, sycamore wood, aromatic rushes and others. This unisex fragrance was created with both a man and woman in mind, so it is not too sweet for a man, or harsh and strong for a woman.

At first spray of Hermes Un Jardin Sur Le Nile, the first thing that you will notice is a nice citrusy scent. This is all due to the grapefruit note and this is the perfect entrance for this fragrance. Green mango is also contained in the first layer and this adds a bit of greenness, but it works well. It is very intense, but not overpowering. Once that dies down they you get the other notes such as lotus flower, calamus and sycamore wood which gives the scent a very dry, yet subtle woody smell. The fragrance at start is a bit citrus like, green and then woody, essentially it smells like a garden in the middle of the Nile in Egypt.

Un Jardin en Mediterranee by Hermes is one of those scents that can be worn anytime throughout the year. However, it is mainly suited for one of those hot summer days, as it just gives off a certain aura that is more suited for the hotter months.

The fragrance lives up to its name “a garden on the Nile” It is different and unique and the various ingredients work very well to give the scent that feeling. People who wear it will feel as if they are in Egypt, along the Nile River, in a nice little flower garden bursting with different aromas.

Hermes Un Jardin Sur Le Nil is different, unusual and unique. It is a unisex fragrance and both men and women will appreciate it. In many people’s opinion, they believe that Sur Le Nil is the best fragrance out of this Un Jardin series. It really is a magical fragrance that is a must have for people who love exceptionally good fragrances.
